See how they are simular but are different? No? Well look at the neck tie and the thing around the neck (what do you call that thing anyways? blah...) - Anywho! Havent done green hair in a while-- i was just putting the pen on the tablet and i made this one line and i was like "wow that looks like a decent line-- maybe i CAN draw something today!" and i guess i sorta did... trying new stuff and all-- Anywho! IF you can tell me what i WANTED that Kanji to say (it might say it - then again it might not!) then you get a free request! Thats right- if you get it right you can ask me to draw something and i MOST LIKELY will (most likely means there are restrictions... if your request is like "Hey you know that place with all the paintings? Do that!" "You mean the Sistine Chapel?" "Yeah thats it!" T_T -- that would be a no!)
Anyways good luck-- oh-- and on another note-- dont know if the person even looks at my deviant art-- this is going to look really silly but i have to do it--
Someone a while back Commissoned me-- I worked on it for a good long time-- took my time-- well its WAY past the time i wanted to have it done-- WAY WAY past-- anyways i felt horrible so i went to find the email and the person-- AND ITS GONE!! I cant find the email anywhere!! it must have accidently gotten deleted with all the stuff i got rid off (too much pack rat in me and i finally got to cleaning up T_T ) SO! If you commissioned me -- and you still want it (dont know why you would-- i suck anyways) send me an email again-- im very sorry-- if only it had been a request for something drawn and colored digitally i would have had it done in a day or two T_T -- sorry once again!!!
*edit-- fixed error in description- yes it is very bad grammar in japanese but still...*
EDIT AGAIN! - Sorry if this keeps poping up in your messages-- "fixed" the Kanji-- or did i? I dont know! I know nothing of Kanji!

I ran several kanji searches and went for each individual character in a kanji dictionary.
The first one means joy or happiness, and reads as "KI" when joined with other kanji. Otherwise it reads as AKI or YOROKO in the case of making the verb, YOROKOBIMASU (to be happy). But you don't know Japanese so I won't go in depth on that.
Right, so the second one only has one reading, GEKI, and it's an onyomi, which means it only goes with other kanji. Which means that the two together, most likely, read "kigeki," which means comedy.
I don't know why "nai" is put at the start of the sentence, unless you missed something when you copied it from Google Languages or whereever...so that's about as far as I can make sense of it.
My main guess was "not comedy," or something close to it - maybe "nothing funny here"....but you said that was close but not on the dot. So meh, whatever.
Fine-- if the new text on the image is any easier to read- then you get the "prize" -- this time its reallllly random! Following your "instructions" using something i didnt know i had or if it was even doing it right! Let me know then make your request via Note or Email ^_^
She is very cute ^^ I have never seen the anime that that style takes after but I still like it none the less!! I have seen pictures so yeah your style is pretty close which is very cool I think ^^ I love the blushing face soooo cute!!! Great work!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
